What we collect

To deliver compost pickup service, we collect:

• Your name, service address, phone, and email
• Payment details (handled by Stripe; we don't store card numbers)
• Service preferences (plan tier, pickup day, skip dates)
• Usage data tied to your account: pickup history, pounds diverted

How we use it

• Schedule pickups and route our trucks
• Send account-related emails (receipts, missed pickup notices, schedule changes)
• Generate your personal impact report
• Improve service quality based on aggregate patterns

What we don't do

• Sell your data to anyone: not data brokers, not marketers, nobody
• Share your address with third parties beyond what's necessary to deliver service
• Track you across other websites

Email & SMS

We send transactional messages (pickup reminders, missed-pickup alerts) to phone numbers and emails you provide. We also send a monthly newsletter; you can unsubscribe at any time from the link at the bottom of every email.

Cookies & analytics

We use first-party session cookies to keep you logged into the customer portal. We use basic analytics (pageviews, no PII) to understand which pages people find. No third-party advertising trackers.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing Info@CompostNashville.org. We'll respond within 30 days.
